“La Favorita's white-glove Sorrento”
Grand Hotel la Favorita is a museum-beautiful Sorrento hotel set among lemon trees — the cleanest hotel one guest had visited with spotless bathrooms, working air conditioning and dark shutters, world-class Zest restaurant multi-course dining plus a rooftop pool and restaurant with Bay of Naples views, an excellent continental breakfast (one wanted more fruit), decent wifi, a five-minute walk to the port lift and steps to shops and restaurants, and white-glove valet treatment. Two notes: the gym is too small once one or two guests use it, and a front seat manager was rude trying to charge for a cancelled room until the booking platform resolved it — that guest still called the hotel five-star.
