“Chimayo's plaza split”
Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe sits a block from the plaza — comfortable balcony rooms, a loved atmosphere, great pizza in the restaurant, a walk-everywhere heart-of-Santa-Fe location, and incredible staff whose communication ranks among the best. Caveats though: severe reports describe rooms unlike the photos — dead air conditioning met with fans, barely-working lights, no lift to upper floors, cracked tiles, a failing grout, and a tiny unlit bathroom — plus a steep door-side staircase and thirty-dollar daily parking that can fill up.
