“West Inn's mixed swim”
West Inn & Suites is a good-value Carlsbad stay — quiet clean rooms with comfortable beds kids loved, a good included buffet breakfast, great parking, a handy location, and nice service. Caveats though: an unheated pool and a non-working hot tub — undisclosed at booking and uninviting — there's no restaurant on site, lighting runs dim, and one repeat guest calls a nine-thirty do-not-disturb housekeeping knock from a rude newer desk member a horrible stay.
