Under twenty minutes from the airport — a free scheduled shuttle plus Grab — Village Hotel Changi by Far East Hospitality is a wonderful comfortable stay: a truly magical sunrise from the eighth-floor pool, a clean cozy quiet fairly-spacious-for-the-rate room, a beautiful view, excellent very kind service, the desk once saved a cash-strapped late arrival, and a pleasant pool and gym. Cautions though: far from downtown for shopping trips and a slightly-old feel.
