Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley is a gorgeous laid-back European-feeling lodge — well-appointed spacious rooms, a true ski-in ski-out location with beautiful views, a great pool and relaxing dining areas, an amazing Sunday brunch, an excellent wine list and fantastic food, and very responsive proactive accommodating staff across desk, restaurant, rentals and concierge. Practical caveats: it is dear with no self-park option, one bedroom fireplace would not light, a room facing the entrance and valet proved noisy with thin hallway sound, and the front desk once read unfriendly.
