“Sapporo's prince hotel”
Sapporo's cylindrical honeycomb tower — a 360-degree rooftop bar overlooking the city — Sapporo Prince Hotel is a perfect old-money stay: a clean proper-size comfortable room with ample hangers and a quiet responsive cooler, a gentle fragrance and calming music throughout, sweet-shrimp and scallop breakfasts, a clean laundry and ice machine, a free Sapporo-station shuttle and the Chitose airport bus at the door. Nits though: the long airport-bus ride and extra-paid onsen and breakfast.
