In the Soho Square area with a private snorkelling spot, Grand Oasis Resort splits verdicts hard: good more-than-satisfying service, incredibly-friendly welcoming staff, excellent hugely-varied allergy-aware food, best-area value and full wheelchair access. Severe pans though: a one-star everything despite the badge — yellowed unwashed-looking sheets, no toothbrush without shop-buy, a half curtain, a lingering bags-carrier who slammed the door un-tipped, sticky restaurant floors, bad food and hostel-level facilities — plus a repair-needing pension-feel verdict, and staff kept assuming guests were Russian , annoying.
