“Skytree-side practical favourite”

Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole wins repeat guests with a superb practical spot opposite Tokyo Skytree: a mall and supermarkets sit at the door — one open until midnight — Oshiage station reaches both airports within the hour, and Ginza is easy. Rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast offers a wide spread, parking is affordable and staff speak fluent English and Chinese. The experience is deliberately contactless: check-in and out run on lobby machines and toiletries are collected on the fifth floor. The only grumble: one guest disliked the entrance scent.

Rooms: Spacious, clean rooms facing the Skytree.
Service: Friendly, fluent English- and Chinese-speaking staff.
Location: Opposite Skytree with a mall and metro beside.
Food: A wide breakfast spread, with inexpensive options nearby.
Facilities: Contactless machine check-in and self-collected toiletries.
