“M's Kyoto's reach”
Hotel the M's Kyoto is a good pretty-good stay — five-to-ten minutes' walk from Kyoto Station and the shinkansen, easy to find and easy with luggage, a clean bigger-and-newer-than-budget-chains room, good service and amenities, a Lawson beside, and a small mall with a Don Quijote open to midnight. Caveats though: the bathroom has no tub, and do not confuse it with the similarly-named M's Hotel nearby.
