“Kyoto's koko shijo”
Near the subway — Gion a twenty-minute walk — Koko Hotel Kyoto Shijo Karasuma is a very convenient good-value stay: a spacious clean big room, awesome room design, a good breakfast, a competitive rate, an easy-to-find spot near food and convenience stores, a welcome after-midnight check-in and very nice helpful staff. Cautions though: a slight smell for one and the Shijo centre a longer walk.
