Kastara Resort Ubud is a very atmospheric village hotel thirty minutes by taxi from town — distinctive rooms facing forest and rice fields with ten-out-of-ten views, a beautiful pool, a nice jacuzzi, a great breakfast, few nearby restaurants so the hotel bar covers meals, and sincerely-warm smiling staff who check on food and rooms.
