Sanctuary Villas is an outstanding Ubud stay — immaculately-clean beautifully-decorated spacious three-storey villas with private pools and mesmerising views, amazing breakfasts (the jungle bowl won hearts), good room dining, Monkey Forest close enough that cheeky monkeys visit for treats, and exceptionally-attentive welcoming staff. Caveats though: a severe gripe reports hot-water pressure too weak to fill the lovely bath — the outdoor spa became a foot bath, the very reason they booked.
