“Charming six-room haveli by Amer Fort”
Surya Haveli is a beautiful six-room historic hotel on Jaipur's outskirts, five minutes from Amer Fort — very clean stylish rooms with fantastic finishes, prompt three-minute check-ins, exceptionally courteous staff who arranged a 300km Ajmer cab quickly, a Rajasthan-vibe restaurant serving outstanding food, and a lovely rooftop terrace with fortification views. Limits: tiny low-ceilinged rooms, an away-from-city spot, a limited Indian-weighted by-order breakfast, and restaurant charges one guest felt lacked value.
