Hotel Luc, Autograph Collection is a spotless, quiet central-Berlin boutique — walkable to Museum Island and restaurants with cabs across the street, small but modern well-maintained rooms, a delicious breakfast, a loved sauna and steam room, a nice bar, and welcoming staff with great recommendations. Two real incidents: the hotel sold one guest's first-night room, recovering with a sister-property suite plus breakfast and tour tickets (the suite was less liked); and another spent three sleepless nights in a room with effectively no AC — reception offered only a miniature fan.
