“La Concha's renovation limbo”
La Concha Key West is a repeat-love resort in a great main-street location — comfortable clean relaxing rooms, an à-la-carte breakfast with many tasty choices, a big extra-charge parking lot, and great accommodating staff. Caveats though: major renovations went undisclosed — no pool or fitness area, a room stuck at seventy-five degrees, a single working elevator with no stair option meant waits every trip, and the destination fee was still charged against a small food voucher.
