Two blocks from Bourbon Street within walking distance of the Cathedral and Cafe du Monde, Hotel de la Poste - French Quarter, a Renaissance Hotel is a wonderful great-location stay for many: perfect friendly helpful service, a comfortable clean room, a very nice courtyard and restaurant and bar, delicious food, onsite valet with a street turn-in and stay-again intent. Cautions though: a quite expensive valet — though that is New Orleans — small poorly-lit rooms and bathrooms and a stiff charge for an unused item.
