Hotel Unicus Palace is an outstanding old-town Krakow stay — clean comfortable rooms (small but with excellent split AC, water and coffee machines), delicious breakfasts with cooked-to-order choices, a free afternoon tea spread of coffee, teas and croissants, a croissant spot opposite and a supermarket near. Staff at reception and housekeeping are lovely. Finding it is hard: cars can't enter the street and there's no clear sign — it hides between restaurants. One room's heating stuck on; opening the window brought street noise.
