“Toji's free snacks”
Comfort Hotel ERA Kyoto Toji is a pleasant best-in-Japan stay — conveniently located one subway stop from Kyoto station across the street, close to metro and bus, clean rooms in great condition, amazingly helpful respectful kind staff, a diverse great breakfast, a relaxing lounge for reading and unwinding, and free afternoon snacks and drinks — lemonade, teas, candies and crackers — plus a convenience store downstairs and Yoshinoya opposite; a hundred-percent recommend. Caveats though: near an intersection, train sounds are audible until services stop — earplugs solve it.
