“Melbourne's adelphi stay”
On a convenient spot amid many eateries — the Victoria gallery about ten minutes — Adelphi Hotel is a very good simple effective stay: a big clean nice-design if slightly-tired room, provided water, warm front desk, a pleasant-surprise complimentary breakfast and a would-return verdict. Cautions: a not-fantastic stay for one, only surface-level clean, substantial black mould in the shower recess and a strange bathtub detail, plus an unfixed hot-water maintenance gap on a checkout eve.
