“Viktualienmarkt's quirky Louis”
A stone's throw from shopping and sightseeing on the Viktualienmarkt — Marienplatz adjacent and the Frauenkirche and Residenz ten minutes — Louis Hotel inspires love-love-love loyalty: a very spacious comfortable warm thirty-eight-square-metre room, a good breakfast with salmon freedom on weekends, nice ice cream downstairs, and a return-after-Austria vote. Serious faults tally though: flickering bathroom LEDs, a dripping weak shower, thin walls between rooms, patchy room service, an uncomfortable duvet and a weekday breakfast reduced to bread plus awkward a la carte orders.
