“Munich's Mandarin polish”
Two steps from Maximilian Street on an excellent good location, Mandarin Oriental, Munich lives up to the brand's never-disappoint name: outstanding service across front desk, restaurant, housekeeping and concierge that genuinely feels like coming home, friendly professional staff, comfortable quiet clean rooms with comfy beds and excellent high-floor views, a beloved 1703 bakery below — the buttered pretzel is delicious — good corner coffee, and dog beds and bowls for pets. One regret: rain closed the terrace bar.
