DoubleTree by Hilton at The Entrance to Universal Orlando is a smart family pick on International Drive — clean bright spacious rooms with excellent soundproofing and soft bedding, a walkable park entrance plus free scheduled shuttles, a relaxing pool, an outlet mall nearby, downstairs restaurants and a supermarket for one-stop needs, easy taxis and deliveries, and friendly thoughtful staff. Caveats though: a bathroom drain clogged once, some guests never learned the shuttle existed and paid for taxis, and one reviewer rated it a three-and-a-half-star feel.
