“Takapuna's carnmore stay”
A superb spot near the beach, cafes and shops — convenient surroundings, plentiful parking — Carnmore Hotel Takapuna is a nice warm pleasant typical-motel stay: a very clean tidy room, complete amenities, friendly warm enthusiastic reception help, a safe clear feel, good value and a north-shore choose-again intent. Cautions: a transition-stay-only verdict from one, the kitchen had only a microwave, and an outdoor pool.
