“Takapuna's motor lodge”
Ten minutes' walk from Takapuna Beach near a supermarket and restaurants, Takapuna International Motor Lodge is a highly-recommended small-but-complete stay: a very nice tidy clean room, comfortable beds, perfect shower pressure, a cooking kitchen, family-size options, English-and-Chinese-speaking staff, after-hours self check-in and free parking. Cautions though: a light renovation smell, a kitchen missing salt and pepper and no self-laundry.
