“Kyoto ryokan charm in old wood storehouse”
Nazuna Kyoto Gosho is a 2018 ryokan built inside an old wood-storage facility — a unique serene stay with wide comfortable rooms, separated toilet and shower, cozy winter floor heating and sublime wooden in-room baths. Staff are impeccable and breakfast personal and authentic. It sits low-key near Nijo castle and the palace — three blocks to the subway but further from the centre, with old-building corners holding some spiderwebs. Two guests found it overpriced: the bath costs extra, and one promo-photo scene was nowhere onsite.
