Staylist AI overview · based on 8 public guest reviews
“Kyoto's metro-linked newcomer”
Hyatt Place Kyoto is a new, spotless hotel built literally atop a subway exit — with bus stops, eateries and convenience stores outside and the Imperial Palace and Nijo Castle nearby. Rooms are larger than the Japanese norm, quiet against back streets or the atrium, with good air conditioning and detailed front-desk orientation; staff meet the Hyatt professional standard and one guest rates it their best Japan hotel. Minor knocks: rooms still read small to some, breakfast is fine though bread slices could be bigger, and luggage should use the farther elevator exit.
