Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at the First Residence is called one of Cairo's best and cleanest — a perfect location beside major attractions with the First Mall steps from the lobby, spacious rooms, superb food, cocktails and a special Petit Chef experience on the Nile. Receptionist Asala is credited with a perfect stay, and staff made a 30th birthday superb via a suite upgrade, complimentary late checkout and a huge cake. Caveats: facilities are slightly old, interior service is merely average to one guest, and fresh paint fumes were strong — unsuitable for children that week.
