“Hotel Cairo's Nile”
Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino is a great comfortable stay — a greatest-of-locations with rooms facing the Nile and old-city views, the pyramids visible from the executive lounge, a very clean room with big comfortable twin beds, a free extra bed for a child, no adapter needed for chargers, lounge light meals morning and evening, friendly helpful staff, the best breakfast of one Egypt trip, and good dining. Caveats though: check-in once meant a two-hour wait after five pm and a booked balcony king initially arrived without one — only arguing produced a corner balcony — and nights run noisy for light sleepers.
