Danieli, A Four Seasons Hotel, Venice is a beautiful very nice stay for most — a great historic location minutes' walk from the main square, lagoon views straight from the terrace rooms, a beautiful retro lobby, a lovely breakfast terrace, a rooftop restaurant with superb views and first-class food and service, and convenient transport. Caveats though: a severe dissent reports being assigned the smallest edge room — a leaking balcony canopy included — and feels Chinese guests receive the worse rooms while better same-category rooms go to Europeans; and ten days after checkout the deposit pre-authorization still had not been returned.
