“Old-city Cartagena beauty, party noise”
Casa Carolina Hotel is a beautiful courtyard boutique two blocks from the Clock Tower Gate — a stunning room, two pools including a rooftop respite, a coffee shop, bar and restaurant, an arrival massage and delicious breakfast. Staff are incredible, Frank gets a shout-out, and couples massages shine. Reality checks: the area is extremely loud — clubbing music until three a.m. and daytime street performances, with no soundproofing; one guest found it mediocre for the spend, Instagram-focused, short on basics, and felt staff expected a huge tip.
