“Budapest's basilica terrace”
Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre is a nice great-value stay — a popular spot minutes' walk from every important site with shopping and dining all convenient, a clean spacious room, very welcoming front-desk staff where Szofia gave a thorough welcome and local recommendations and arranged a honeymoon surprise, a suite with a superb large terrace facing the basilica, and a fairly-rich breakfast. Caveats though: the hotel runs busy, so go early to avoid the breakfast crowd.
