Is Rusacks St. Andrews good? Overview, pros and cons

“Rusacks' Old Course views”
Rusacks St. Andrews is an excellent historic hotel on the Old Course — clean beautiful rooms with great views, a lovely breakfast overlooking the first and eighteenth holes served with fresh high-grade ingredients (extra friends once ate uncharged), the amazing 18 restaurant, an easy walk to town university beach and Market Street, and fantastic staff who compensated a noise disturbance; concierge Jamie was wonderfully helpful. Caveats though: the low-key entrance is easy to miss — look for the flag and side sign.
