“Gran Vía's centre”
In the very city centre on Gran Vía — the station downstairs and airport buses via the 208 — Ikonik Gran Vía is an excellent perfect-week stay for a first Madrid visit: a spacious nice minimalist-decorated room, clean charming interiors, very friendly staff, well-soundproofed windows despite the roadside and strong AC, a stylish central recommend. Two nits: the entrance is small and easy to miss, and peak-season rates reportedly triple low-season levels.
