“Bosphorus' classic stay”
Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus is a classic excellent stay — a 1955 grande dame freshly renovated with Ritz-Carlton-style dining spaces, a great outdoor pool the kids used daily, a decent varied breakfast with delicious bread and a satisfying Chinese restaurant, a small park for strolling, Bosphorus views from high floors, cats at breakfast outside, and a good location among the classic five-stars. Caveats though are real: a detailed dissent says service lags the hardware — room service answered slowly, promised items never arrived, weak English complicated requests, and restaurant staff looked disengaged — that guest caps it at two nights.
