Perched on a cliff with first-line sea views — an on-call shuttle to the main road or a ten-to-fifteen-minute walk — Kata Rocks is a loved feels-like-home stay for many: a beautiful private resort-feel setting, a spacious comfy modern-minimalist room with a wide terrace and pool, thoughtful careful friendly staff across desk, housekeeping and shuttle, photogenic views and an orderable breakfast. Dissents though: a severe guesthouse-level pan, ordinary supporting facilities, slow breakfast service with weak service awareness, broken pool and ambient lights left unfixed for two nights and no direct beach access.
