“The Rose Hotel's warm staff”
The Rose Hotel is a gorgeous well-kept property — clean spacious stylish rooms, a lovely old-school lobby, a great spa, a delicious breakfast buffet plus made-to-order and gluten-free options, good food at Dott's, a fifteen-minute walk to town, and standout helpful staff (Abbey praised). One severe dissent though: a plywood-hard bed and horrid pillows meant almost no sleep, and a bland bar dinner looked child-made — a no-return for them; tour buses also block the front at times.
