Hotel la Palma is a fabulous lovely stay — a waterfront hotel whose pool overlooks the lake with spectacular views, a sky bar and rooftop with more stunning outlooks, breakfast served over garden and lake views with a wide hot-and-cold spread, walking distance to many restaurants, cafés and bars, and a superior room with a partial lake view that charmed. Caveats though: pool and bar service was unstable for one guest, tour groups make breakfast busy, and one visitor vowed to return when the lake pool reopens.
