“Home2 Altoona's split”
Home2 Suites by Hilton Altoona des Moines is a nice clean stay for some — clean rooms, a hot breakfast, nice friendly staff, and key-card glitches eventually resolved after a system reboot. Caveats though: severe reports cite a room carpeted in pet hair (the swap still meant moving everything unaided), a booked king suite downgraded to a queen pair whose air conditioning then failed with an uncaring response, a fire pit broken for a while despite being a booking draw, and a breakfast that could step up.
