“Drake's suite split”
Home2 Suites Des Moines at Drake University is a great family stay — a perfect spot for a Drake football game with an unmissable ice-cream shop around the corner, suites with lots of room for teenagers, a huge good breakfast, friendly staff, and a location perfect for hopping on and off the highway; highly recommended. Caveats though: one one-bedroom suite fell short of its listing — only a curtain divided the bed from the pullout sofa, which disappointed — and the bathroom could use updating, though the room was clean.
