“Amstel's grand split”
InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam is a nice good stay — a comfortable grand hotel where most staff are very kind, housekeeping keeps rooms tidy, and the breakfast is amazingly tasty. Caveats though: a dissenting guest found the hotel old with dated equipment and a dirty stool, judged the rate too high for the experience, called service mediocre, and watched the doorman let guests carry their own bags up the lobby steps.
