Neya Porto Hotel is a cozy, calm riverside Porto hotel — a great spot on the Douro with the old town behind and buses below, big bright river-view rooms, a lovely courtyard, a great bar view, loaner bikes, and lovely super helpful staff. The complaints: a poor breakfast — canned mushrooms, beans, fake sausages, runny eggs and low-quality fruit; cleaning lapses — a guest arrived to leftover flower petals, a dirty carpet and missing slippers and toothbrushes, no return; and water problems per a Russian guest.
