Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico is a great comfortable Ponta Delgada stay — solid rooms with comfortable beds and quality linen, a very good tasty breakfast served on a magnificent ocean-and-pier-view veranda, an excellent location near every city attraction, fourteen-euro valet parking, very clean upkeep, and good service. Caveats though: one stay's day-one air conditioning failed with a slow repair.
