“Ruzzini Palace's canal calm”
Ruzzini Palace Hotel is a super clean historic palace in the heart of Venice — its own building, gondolas sliding past the ground-floor cafe bar, canal-and-bridge views from lower rooms, an eight-minute bridge-hop to St Mark's, a rich breakfast, friendly gentlemanly staff, and honeymoon champagne delivered as a surprise. Caveats though: a severe report alleges no refund and no stay was offered when a child fell ill with chickenpox; the design runs slightly old and service was called only average elsewhere.
