Grand Hotel les Trois Rois is a gorgeous newly-rebuilt Basel landmark on the Rhine's left bank — clean quiet history-filled rooms with fine amenities and balconies, superb breakfasts and a lovely high tea, beautiful common rooms and restaurants, proactive meticulous service ranked Basel's highest standard, and amazingly helpful friendly professional staff; even a walking-tour guide brings guests through. Caveats though: it is admittedly dear.
