“Le Cep's Beaune perch”
Le Cep is a quite lovely romantic hotel in the center of Beaune — an excellent central location among wine stores, restaurants and shops in a safe-feeling city, gracious accommodating very friendly helpful staff, an excellent barman, a nice garden for meals and breakfast, great amenities, eclectic room decor, and a secure car park. Caveats though: a guest reports very poor wifi and a cable television cutting out every few minutes, a poor-condition fourth-floor fitness room with half the equipment broken, a noisy-at-night courtyard plus a non-functioning air conditioner in warm weather, and an old-school interior; another disliked being charged for offered parking at checkout without warning.
