Historic Rocky Waters Inn, A Small Luxury Hotel is a fantastic favorite stay for most — a peaceful quiet Gatlinburg spot right on the river where bears can be spotted from the restaurant and room balcony, seamless check-in with staff greeting guests on arrival and walking them to their rooms, an excellent breakfast in the Heirloom Room beating hotels twice the spend, water-view rooms, a comfy bed, a nice convenient restaurant, and friendly helpful staff. Caveats though: an adults-only guest found nothing special and the pictured bathtub missing from the booked room; the window AC runs loud, and an environmental fee was charged over three days.
