Canaves Ena - Small Luxury Hotels of the World is a stunning exceeded-expectations stay — a beautiful property on the cliff top slightly outside Oia's centre with fewer steps, the best views in town over the caldera, secluded yet easily walkable to restaurants, shops and the blue-dome church, a two-bedroom suite whose terrace guests never wanted to leave, an amazing breakfast, courteous fast-responding staff who take pride in their work, and such excellent service that returning guests will only book a Canaves property. Caveats though: no sunset aspect, and the breakfast and pool areas run small though practical.
