“Seville palace beauty, upkeep gaps”
CoolRooms Palacio Villapanés 5 GL is a refurbished palace whose mosque-like atrium, tasteful rooms and cozy rooftop charm most guests — a front-desk hostess gave a passionate history tour, food and drinks flow freely, and the spa delights. Yet two reviews flag real problems: small breakages piled up (a dead lamp, two faulty USB-C outlets, a leaking sink plug), and one guest reported an unclean room with a strong sewer smell in the bathroom, no kettle, a small room, fifteen minutes to the sights, and a rain-disabled lift that forced luggage down stairs. Check-in was also called messy once.
