Three complaints: poor soundproofing — early-morning garbage trucks on cobblestones were loud; dated separate hot-cold taps; a desk laugh at a child's chat felt rude; and most seriously, a borrowed adapter turned out to be sell-only — a silent ten-pound charge at checkout that the guest called disgusting.
