“Nice's le meridien”
Right on the Promenade opposite the sea — the old town ten minutes, a taxi rank outside — Le Meridien Nice is a lovely highly-recommended stay: one of the city's best views, a fascinating room view, great breakfast variety, a very nice bar, friendly staff, early-ready rooms, on-request water, arranging help and good luggage keeping. One nit: the Nice-Ville station sits twenty minutes away for onward rail trips.
